The break dance hip-hop group 'Rock Steady Crew' visited Copenhagen in 1984 to promote their hit single '(Hey You) The Rock Steady Crew'.

After a walk in the Tivoli Gardens they put on an impulsive break dance show on the tiles in front of the main entrance on Vesterbrogade and for awhile the Copenhagen spectators felt transported to the New York Streets.
