Astek was in his youth always busy making drawings and with other creative expressions. As from his 12th (1984) he became interested in graffiti en with his parents permission he was allowed to make a piece on the garden fence. From that time on, graffiti has been - on and off - a constant factor in his life. And where a lot of graffiti writers choose to stick to a certain style he always remained curious and kept looking for new forms, styles and possibillities to express himself. The creative exploration has resulted in following a course at the Graphic Lyceum. Having been employed at several design studio's and going to the Art Academy. Nowadays he's working as an self employed entrepeneur at projects varying from graphic design, stand builds, tape - and street art. Nowadays his work has a signature of minimalistic tight geometry and because of that for the back piece design he had to go back in time for a while to the old school days. instagram/michadebie
