Keeith Haring influenced my work even when I was quite young. His imagery was unique and immediately appealed to me. He was the style maverick of the graffiti scene - and yet accepted. Even though my work looks very different at first glance, right from the start, I have often used the cartoon-like lines of movement that always surrounded his figures. His influence has remained and is evident. I chose his work withe the dogs because you often see them in my work as well.'
