Zwolle graffiti history; NYC style graff coming up 1985-1987.
The third graffiti wave originated under influence of America. Hip Hop arrived in The Netherlands and brought a new subculture with breakdance, DJ's, graffiti and rap. Movies like Wild Style, Beat Street and Style Wars inspired the Zwolle youth to do American style graffiti pieces. The rivalry between city districts disappeared and slowly the first Hip Hop party's at the AA-House became an important place to meet eachother.
