For me it was magical. It was 1984. I was a young teenager, and I was introduced to the original hip-hop and graffiti culture - which instandly changed my life. Today it's still the magical I hunt for when I paint. I try to find my way back to the feeling of the all-consuming love of this culture I experienced in the 80s.
